Ryan Renegades Fish Club
CLUB RULES
Effective March 1, 2015
Membership Information
A statement of dues will be sent to each member prior to the beginning of each membership year. Dues are to be paid by April 1st. Make payments to club Treasurer as shown on the dues invoice.
Member Families – Membership is titled under one name, but fishing and camping rights extend to spouses, significant others and dependent children. Dependent children must be accompanied by a member at all times. The member’s wallet size membership card should be carried while on the ranch.
Sponsoring New Members – All proposed new members must be sponsored by a current member and placed on a waiting list. There is a one-time fee of $50.00 to add a proposed new member to the waiting list. You may obtain an application from the President or club Secretary. Members shall have a limit of two names on the proposed list at any one time. No proposed name shall remain on the list without an active sponsor. Proposed members that visit the ranch are considered to be guests and are subject to all guest rules.
Guests – Each member is entitled to bring three guests per year (one household to include dependent children = one guest), with a five day limit for each visit. A guest that is on the waiting list does not count against the three guest limit. There is a daily charge for all guests; the rate per day is determined by whether or not the guest is on the waiting list and whether or not the guest fishes. The higher rate includes full fishing privileges for each day, while the lower rate is sufficient for those who simply use the facility and do not fish. Members are responsible for the actions of the guests, and must accompany them at all times. Any member who has dropped out of the club cannot be a guest. Guests on Labor Day weekend are free and do not count against the annual limits.
Special Use Fees
The daily fees for 2015 will be as follows:
Ranch Etiquette
Members of the Ryan Family are not to be bothered with club matters. Especially, do not take any complaints to them. Instead, all concerns should be taken up with the club officers or the Board of Directors.
Patrolling the Ranch – Each member is to act as a Ranch patrolman. Introduce yourself to anyone you see and make sure they are a member or guest.
Fishing Regulations – the Ranch waters are subject to Wyoming bag and special regulations.
Irrigated Meadows – No driving on the meadows until after they have been cut and the irrigation has stopped. After haying, you may drive along the river or on the trails that go through the meadows.
Gates – Leave all gates in the meadow as you find them. If they are closed, then close them behind you; if open then leave them open. Whenever there are cattle on the Ranch we ask you to keep the two gates to the campground closed. We want to keep the cattle out of the campground.
Fires – These are allowed only at the campground / trailer park and must be out in a fire pit or ring. Wood gathering is prohibited except for the area around the trailer park.
Motorcycles / Snowmobiling – Motorcycles are allowed on established roads only. No riding near the ranch house or in the campground, or on the bluff above the campground, or on the meadows. Snowmobiles are strictly forbidden on the ranch.
ATVs-will be operated on the ranch by members only. ATVs will not be ridden near the ranch house or in the campground. All ATVs are to be parked in the area designated near the entrance to the campground. Speed limit is 15 MPH. ATVs will not be driven on the meadows until after they have been cut and the irrigation has stopped. After haying, you may drive along the river or on the trails that go through the meadows.
All vehicles, to include ATVs, motorcycles and any off road vehicle, operated on or off the ranch are subject to applicable state and local laws.
Firearms – No guns of any type are to be fired on the Ranch, including BB or pellet guns.
Cabin Information
Three cabins are available for the exclusive use of the members. The fees for 2015 are $20 per night per cabin for non-members; Members will not be charged to use the cabins. You must make a reservation to use the cabins (see information on reservations below). The cabins are located at the upper (south) end of the ranch behind the residence of Greg Ryan. Each has two double beds, electric lights, a wood burning stove, a refrigerator, and cooking utensils. There is also a small vacuum cleaner and other cleaning equipment. The toilet/shower room which is located in the north end of the Ryan Electronics building is open year round. This is the only place with running water.
The cabins vary in size and arrangement. They are labeled with signs so there is no confusion. The “Jim Gregory” cabin is the best for two couples. It is the largest, and has two rooms with a door between them. The “Ryan Park” cabin is small, but also has two rooms. There is no closed door to separate the rooms, just a simple partition. The “School House” cabin is one room, but fairly large unit, and the nicest with respect to condition. To use a cabin, there are a few simple rules:
1) Make a reservation – it is mandatory that you do so. Simply locating and moving into a vacant cabin is not acceptable as doing so may conflict with the legitimate reservation of a late arriving member. Our website has an up-to-date calendar of reservations. Please check availability and then fill out and email the reservation request form or email Jeannie Tiemann direct at jeannietiemann@cs.com. A confirmation will be emailed back to you. Jeannie can also be contacted by phone at 307-745-5525.
2) Bring your own food, bedding, and firewood – The beds are older, coil spring models with a mattress; bring sleeping bags or blankets. Some cabins have an electric hot plate, but you may want to bring a gas camp stove for cooking.
3) Clean the cabin and toilet/shower before leaving – No one comes in and cleans after you depart; do not leave any food behind in your cabin; unplug the refrigerator; clean any dishes; scrub the floor if necessary. There are vacuum cleaners in all cabins. Also remove the spent ashes from the wood stove and put them in the ash barrel or the irrigation ditch.
4) Haul all trash out – There are no facilities for disposing of trash. Bring plastic bags and take everything home with you.
Campground/Trailer Park Information
The campground/trailer park is located at the lower (north) end of the ranch. It is for the exclusive use of the members. Sites for permanent trailer parking are assigned and may not be used by other members in general. There is space available for short-term camping in the southeast part of the campground. All of the permanent sites and some of the short-term sites have electricity available. If you use the campground facilities, you are expected to do your part to keep it maintained. There are three outdoor toilets at the campground.
Trailer Campsite Rules:
1) The permanent trailer area is that area designated on the campground map and is defined as the area starting at the west side of the south gate and moving clockwise to the north edge of the entry road. The area will not be expanded onto the current common (overnight) camping area but will extend into the wooded area to the north. Permanent camping/trailer sites are identified on the map.
2) The commons and nonpermanent (overnight) camping area begins on the east side of the south fence gate and moving counter clockwise to the south edge of the entry road and all the open area currently not occupied or designated as permanent camping trailer sites.
3) New campsites may be identified outside the commons area and proposed to the Board for approval. New permanent site requests must be accompanied by written approval of the two nearest permanent camping/trailers prior to Board action for approval.
4) When a permanent trailer/camper site is vacated by a member’s resignation or departure from the club, that space will revert to the club as a vacated trailer spot. A priority list, established by the Board, based on members’ desires, will be used to relocate vacated spaces.
5) Any member with a trailer on a campsite may sell that trailer and the accompanying campsite to any other member, subject to Board approval. Upon approval by the Board, the new owner must pay the club the currently established permanent campsite fee.
6) Any trailer that is determined by the Board to be uninhabitable for any reason will be removed from the campground by the owner of that trailer. Failure of the member to discharge this responsibility will subject the owner to cost of removal of the trailer.
7) Trailers that are to be parked permanently are not to exceed 8 feet by 30 feet. Propane bottles left permanently in the trailer park are limited to 100 lbs.in size.
